Vazhachal falls is a rushing waterbody joining Chalakkudy river in the Thrissur district. It is located approximately 3 km from Athirappilly. The route from Athirappilly to Vazhachal is marked by beautiful nature and a small waterfall right in the midway.

Athirappalli

Athirappally is located 78 km from Kochi, located at the entrance to Sholayar ranges, this waterfall is a popular picnic spot. Combined with the greenery, it infuses freshness into any tired soul. The Athirapally falls join the Chalakkudy river after plummeting a drop of 80 feet.
