Kayyoor

An enchanting landscape formed by a chain of green hills at the Bharananganam panchayat. A shrine dedicated to the Pandava brothers of the epic Mahabharatha is found here. As in the famous temple at Sabarimala, only ghee is used to light the lamps here. Women are not permitted inside the temple. Kayyoor hills (35 km) is a good place to have a the panoramic scenery. Tourists use this for natural beauty and a trekking and the breeze. Kayoor Hills are near to Kurumannu.
