Shendurney Wildlife Sanctuary, Kollam

Shendurney (Thenmala) is the India's first Eco-tourism Centre. Boating, trekking, bird watching and the various facilities of adventure tourism, musical fountain, tree top walk in Thenmala are the major attractions. The Shendurney Wildlife Sanctuary is the cradle of one of the oldest river valley civilizations in India – older than the Indus valley. Thenmala dam is nearby.
